There’s always something new to learn in the ever-changing world of social media. As platforms come and go, it can be tough to keep up with all the latest tips and tricks. But one thing that should always be a top priority is regularly checking your DA (Domain Authority).
What Is Domain Authority?
Domain Authority (DA) is a score developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines. The higher the score, the easier it will be for your site to rank high in SERPs (search engine results pages). Developed as an indicator of authority, DA considers various factors such as links, shares, and followers.
How Can You Check Your DA?
There are several ways you can check your DA score:
- In Firefox or Chrome add-ons – both Mozbar and SEO Quake have extensions that allow users to quickly gauge websites’ scores without having to leave their current page
- Google Webmaster Tools – under “Statistics,” you’ll find information about Crawl Stats & Index Status, which includes domain authority data
- On Contconcord Site – enter a URL on this DA PA Checker and you will be given an overview of its Domain and other metrics like Domain Authority and Page Authority
